“Wallie” - Walter Carl Polzin (1901-1983)

Walter C. Polzin, 82, 3000 Wildwood Lane, Wausau, died Saturday morning at the Wausau hospital.  Mr. Polzin was a cost accountant for Milwaukee Stamping Co. for 38 years.  He was born Aug. 14, 1901, in Milwaukee, son of Otto and Albertina Polzin.  He married Mabel Schrader on Aug. 16, 1930, in Wausau.  She survives.  Other survivors include a daughter, Mr. Marvin (Nancy) Leffel, Route 1, Colby; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Helke West Chapel, Wausau.  The Rev. Donald Baumann of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wausau, will officiate.  Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Wausau.  Friends may call the funeral chapel from 1 p.m. Tuesday until time of services. – Wausau Daily Herald, Mon 12 Sep 1983
