Mabel - Mabel Henrietta Frieda Schrader Polzin (1907-1999)

Mabel H. Polzin, 91, 3000 Wildwood Lane, Wausau, died Sunday Feb. 28, 1999, at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.  Mabel was born Aug. 23, 1907, in Wausau, daughter of the late Otto and Pauline (Passehl) Schrader.  She married Walter C. Polzin on Aug. 16, 1930, in Wausau.  He preceded her in death on Sept. 10, 1983.  Mabel worked at American Family Insurance, West Allis, until her retirement.  She was a former member of Hilltoppers at Wesley Methodist Church.  Mabel enjoyed traveling, needlework and gardening.  Survivors include one daughter, Nancy (Marvin) Leffel, town of Frankfort; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Milton Schrader; and two sisters, Alice Schrader and Marie Schaepe.  Services will be at 1:30 today at Restlawn Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Wausau.  Rev. David Blackmer will officiate.  Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Mausoleum.  Visitation will be from 1 p.m. today until the time of services at the chapel.  Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, is assisting the family with arrangements.Wausau Daily Herald, Tue 2 Mar 1999
