Please please my darling Mabel please tell me quick that you have forgiven me for flying off the handle in my letter to you yesterday. You no doubt received both of the letters today, I sent the Special letter off last night at midnight but to my disappointment it was not forwarded until this morning so you must have received them both at the same time.
My darling I got your letter this morning and I felt so bad all day long. Sweetheart you are the most wonderful girl in all the world I love you love you, more than ever. I just wish I were there with you now I beg you to forgive me. Do you still love me, my darling? Please say you do. If you say “no” then I’ll not care what happens to me anymore. I need you my darling. Outside of the fact that you told me you were to see a fortune teller your letter was beautiful but not quite so beautiful as the one I received today. Yes, my darling I too am so anxious to have you with me. I pray to God that you saw my point in my letter – the one where my temper ran away with me. But you remember, my darling I told you while walking over the high bridge that that is my “weakness” to tell people just what I think?
Another thing my darling, after reading my confusion do you still love me? You see my darling, my life has been far from being a bed of roses. So therefor my darling, Mabel I need you so badly – do you realize it? If you’d go back on me now, then honestly my darling my bitter cup of life would be full. I had such rosy dreams of you & I being happy together. Your letter of yesterday has comforted me much but that letter was written before you got mine.
All day long my heart felt so heavy & will continue so until I hear from you. I do hope that you’ll permit me to come to see you Saturday. Will you? I’m all set to come. I also have my sheet music with me to play for you. But maybe that won’t happen. That depends on you & your farlb[?]. I’ve figured out a way when I can be at Wausau for the evening with you – Saturday evening, my darling I must look into your eyes that will convince me that you still love me. I hope they’ll still smile at me. So please answer me real soon will you?
My darling you can easily tell by my letters that I’m upset I can’t keep my “train of thought” on the track.
If you permit me to come Saturday my darling then I’ll leave here at 2:13 P.M. on the Soo & go as far as Stevens Point from there I’ll take the bus to Wausau. The train arrives at “Point” at 4:57 P.M. & the bus leaves at 5:30 so I’ll be in Wausau at 6:55. Providing the buses are running. Please find out for me & tell me in your next letter. Will you?
I just talked to the fellow who writes to Miss Bloomquist – he called me on the phone & I’m going to eat with him tomorrow noon. We’ll have so much to talk about.
Wasn’t the weather beautiful yesterday? But today is cold here. How is it at Wausau?
Sunday I took my car out for drive or rather a work out. I still can drive! I’m surprised & Sunday night I took Quade’s out in this car. I drove right downtown as though I was there all the while.
I’m so happy that you kissed me in your dreams please darling let me kiss you Saturday?
I swear, my darling I’ll never fly off the handle to you again. Will you forgive me this time?
